Cogi Farm is nestled on majestic Quaker Hill, a hamlet northeast of Pawling village, New York. The town line borders on Putnam County, New York and Connecticut.
Located in Dutchess County, the town is named after Catherine Pawling, the daughter of Henry Beekman, who held the second largest land patent in the county. A section of the town, "the Oblong," was settled by the Quakers in the 18th century. The Quaker Meeting House, still standing today is open for visitors.
