After a spectacular display of Fall leaves in
this area we are gearing up for winter. Elizabeth Niemi and
Christina Baker leave for Florida with their new horses recently
arrived from Europe and we wish them a good season there and
look forward to seeing them in the Summer.
Reiner Niewisch and his customers have had a
busy summer of training and shows and will also be leaving for
the winter and will see them here in the Spring.
Welcome to David Collins, Anni de St Phaille
and their customers, Georjean Hertzwig and Liz Braverman who
will be with us through the winter.
Suezy Partelow and Courtney King have had a successful
showing season and Courtney is planning on spending part of
the winter competing on the South Florida circuit.
Our independents: Fie Andersen and Kathleen Tow
both broke the 70% barrier and won numerous classes. Kathleen
is WFDA Champion at Training Level with a 73.57%. David Collins
of Sport Horse Services continues to train them on a daily basis.
The polo field seeding has been successful and
hopefully a favourable summer will provide rapid growth. We
are about to complete five permanent turnout paddocks which
will allow for retired or recuperating horses to be outside,
each paddock being provided with frost free waterers and run
in shed on one acre fields. Please contact us if you have a
horse requiring one of these paddocks.
Happy Holidays to all!
